Lucid strives to produce iconic export quality performances in dance that develop and inspire its dancers and their audience.

 

Based in Brisbane Australia, Lucid Dance Theatre was founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Louise Deleur. In the course of its first two years Lucid produced two full length works  'All My Love' and  'Within These Walls'. The later work was presented with the help of Ausdance Queensland and The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts to a sold out Season at the Bell Tower II Series.

In 2008 Lucid's short work Troon ii  was chosen to perform at the World Dance Conference in Brisbane. 

In 2011 Lucid created its third full length work with the support of the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts ; Fresh Ground Residency Program. "Dancing with Bach" is as highly successful collaboration with cellist Louise King, with sell out shows in Brisbane and Cooroy.
